Oussama Beroual, a PhD under the supervision of Pr. Sylvain Hallé, has successfully defended his thesis on May 25th, 2018.

His thesis, entitled Automated Detection and Repair of User Interface Bugs in Web Applications, proposed new techniques to fix bugs present in web applications.

Tom Canac earns his Master’s Degree

Tom Canac, an M.Sc. student under the supervision of Pr. Sylvain Hallé, has submitted the final version of his Master’s thesis in July 2018. Tom’s project involved the development of a modular and integrated testing suite for web applications, called CowTest. The Fonds de recherche Québec — Nature et Technologies (FRQNT) has awarded a scholarship to Quentin Betti, currently a PhD student at LIF. Francis Guérin completes his Master’s Degree

Francis Guérin, an M.Sc. student under the supervision of Pr. Sylvain Hallé, has just submitted the final version of his Master’s thesis. Francis’ project involved the development of applications of the Cornipickle system, which can detect various kinds of bugs in the graphical user interface of web sites.

A student from LIF finishes his Master’s thesis

Kun Xie, an M.Sc. student under the supervision of Pr. Sylvain Hallé, has just submitted the final version of his Master’s thesis. Among other things, Kun’s project involved the development and testing of a system allowing to send streams of data between computers through sequences of optical codes called QR codes.
