Tom Canac, an M.Sc. student under the supervision of Pr. Sylvain Hallé, has submitted the final version of his Master’s thesis in July 2018. Tom’s project involved the development of a modular and integrated testing suite for web applications, called CowTest. This library allows a web site developer to integrate and interact with different existing testing systems inside a single interface; this presents a potential for greatly reducing the workload of a web developer. The promising results obtained with CowTest are such that a scientific publication, describing the system, is currently being prepared.
CowTest is one of a host of original solutions developed at LIF in the recent past, and dedicated to improving the quality of software systems of various kinds.
